Because of this competitive market you should make sure that your application is the best that it can possibly be so that you will have a chance to be considered for the position. Your CV should be clear and concise and the cover letter that accompanies it should state 'your attributes' and suitability for the position adequately.

They also provide a free 'Graduate Opportunities' book for every graduating student that contains profiles of organisations in a wide range of areas including Engineering.
The Australian Graduate Opportunities and the Malaysian Graduan are both comprehensive recruitment sites that contain excellent information about CV's, coverletters, interview skills. Both sites have a comprehensive list of companies with their profiles and contact details. The list states what companies are presently offering employment.
